"SUNSET BEACH -- At least five Second Life residents have paid a scammer $10,000 U.S. Dollars for an island that was already sold. The scammer, now banned from SL and facing charges, was operating under the name Juggernaut Stoklitsky. One of the scam victims has reason to believe that he's a long-time criminal...." (more)

According to Gigs Taggart, he and several others were scammed for a combined $10,000 US dollars or so, and while Linden Lab appears to have banned the perpetrator, Taggart says that Linden Lab are basically allowing the fraudster to get away with it...." (more)
